Three out of the five traps were set today. They were baited with frozen fish and thrown over the dock and cleated in Seabrook, Hampton Harbor, and NewCastle, NH. Once we set the traps we looked for more green crabs under rocks and seaweed, but this time we looked at Fort Stark in New Castle. We could only find a few carapaces and a lot of baby eels on the inner side, but on the exposed side I found a crab that was in the middle of molting. I picked it up and its shell crumbled exposing its soft body.
